The Art of Making Dough

Bread Paradox is an idle game you can actually finish.

One bakery, $5, a finish line

Tap it until it pays for a barbershop. Hire a manager so it runs itself. Stack upgrades until the numbers stop fitting on the screen. Then burn the whole thing down and rebuild it faster.

An era runs roughly 9 to 10 days for an active player and 15 to 20 for a casual one. Long enough to be a game, short enough to be a promise that can be kept. Bread Paradox v1.0 is the Digital Age: twelve businesses, from the Bakery to the Rocket Lab.

The finish line is on screen

Every era carries a completion percentage you can see at any time. It is not a participation score. Reaching 100% in the Digital Age means:

  • All 12 managers hired.
  • All 215 upgrades bought.
  • All 218 achievements claimed.
  • All 10 reborns performed.
  • Every business at maximum level, 6,066 levels in total.

A real finish, and the bar is honest about how far away it is.

No toll booth

Every business, every manager, every upgrade and every one of the ten reborn levels can be reached without spending a penny. Achievements alone pay more wisdom points than the entire reborn ladder costs. Gems buy pace. They do not buy access.

No ads. No account. No tracking.

The game runs entirely on your device, so it works on a plane, on the underground, and anywhere else with no signal. It asks for no sign-in and collects nothing about you. Your save, and the record of anything you buy, stay on the device.
